In this article, we highlight our top 5 mountain bikers that you can find on YouTube, (in no particular order) to watch when we aren’t out on the bikes ourselves. They aren’t all pros but with their love and enthusiasm for the sport, they are entertaining to watch.

Having grown his channel to a whopping 682,797 subscribers and 132,236,623 views at the time of writing, you can find everything here from MTB techniques tutorials through to repairs and product reviews and how to film tips.
Hailing from Scotland this world cup level rider takes you on his adventure doing in his own words “Rad Edits and Vlogs” showing what he gets up to on a mountain bike. With his goal of travelling to all the Downhill World Cups, you get a sneak peek behind the practice and all important line choices that are being made as the practice progresses, rider interviews and the odd video of him racing in both the Scottish Downhill and Scottish Enduro Series.
BKXC or Brian Kennedy is the ultimate Californian who jacked in a life of office work with the goal of mountain biking the best trails in the world and he is succeeding. A quick look at his channel will show him mountain biking in Australia, Spain and South Africa to name a few. His infectious personality and nice guy image (he replies to every comment) make you want to stay tuned for his next adventure.
McTrail Riders goal is to have the clearest, smoothest footage for any rider looking to find some amazing places to ride in Scotland. He has made a full-time commitment to his channel and once he has the relevant funds in place will be expanding his tail riding adventures to cover Europe too. Keep your eyes on this channel. It's going to be big.
Fabio (a Redbull sponsored rider) simply states he is a street trials and MTB Pro from Austria. When you view his videos though you will realise that he is way more than that. His riding is quite simply on a different level to most people. His videos will leave you in amazed. His most recent video to celebrate hitting a million subscribers shows exactly why he is the most subscribed to mountain biker on YouTube.
There is something addictive about Dave Jenvy, I think it is because everyone has been or is in his position and you follow him for the thrills and spills along the way eagerly wanting him to improve (sometimes through gritted teeth). As he describes himself “An ordinary guy called Dave trying to transform from being utterly useless on his mountain bike, into a mountain bike God.”
Newer mountain bikers can take a lot from his channel. It comes with time. If you get impatient you may just end up with an avoidable injury. People who have been mountain biking a while fill the comments feed with tips and encouragement all eager to see Dave succeed. There is no better view of just how supportive mountain bikers are to one another than Dave’s channel.
